WOMEN’S GROUPS
SURE, THE LADIES OF THIS CHURCH CAN BAKE A CAKE WITH THE BEST OF THEM. BUT THERE IS MUCH MORE TO THE WOMEN OF ROSE OF SHARON THAN MEETS THE EYE. WE HAVE TWO VERY ACTIVE WOMEN’S GROUPS THAT ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS.
Woman’s Auxiliary
Created in 1935, the Auxiliary is open to women of any age who are members of Rose of Sharon Church. The group is considered a service auxiliary of the church and denomination with its major focus on missions, youth and service.
Our Auxiliary is strong in its support of all of the ministries of the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists. The group supports church programs, especially those involving youth. The group is also active with our ministry to church families involved with sickness and death; providing food and support in these times of need.
The group meets on the first Thursday of every month.

Circle of J.O.Y
The Circle of J.O.Y. was created in 2009. J.O.Y. stands for Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last.
Members of the Circle want to enjoy good fellowship in a Christian atmosphere and strive to be an avenue of service, discipleship and evangelism in the church and community. The Circle actively supports various ministries within the church and we provide $200 scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors who go on to further their education.
The group meets the third Thursday of every month. They share a time of fellowship, devotion and study geared toward the young working woman. Any young woman in the Rose of Sharon family is invited to be a part of the Circle of J.O.Y.
